Overview of Classes

Empowered Fitness is now offering YOGA! Our yoga class is held on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 and is open to members and non-members. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited to 15. Contact me to sign up or go to Yoga Enrollment. Additionally, classes can be viewed and added through the Mindbody App.

Pam Veilleux

Yoga Fit Instructor

Pam and her husband retired up north on beautiful Leech Lake. It was her life's passion to bring yoga up north and share it with the community. Her practice at Empowered Fitness is a gentle flow, focusing on stretching and improving strength and flexibility. It is adaptable to whatever each person's body will allow. 


Pam has been teaching for approximately 10 years and has taught all ages. She was trained by Yoga Fit, which is a user-friendly yoga for all people. Yoga Fit is a blend of traditional Hatha Yoga poses which renew and invigorate the entire body by stretching and strengthening muscles, joints, and spine while directing blood and oxygen to the internal organs, glands and nerves. Yoga Fit is based on an ancient practice but does not adhere to a particular philosophy, religion, or type of meditation. 

Bryana Cook

Yoga Instructor

Bryana lives in Longville with her husband and their cat and two dogs. She works full-time as an Elementary School Social Worker in Walker, MN.  Bryana’s husband; Dan Ryan is a Fishing Guide, an Environmental Educator at Deep Portage, and a writer.  They originally hail from southern Minnesota, but share a great love of northern Minnesota’s woods and waters.

Bryana is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.  She teaches gentle vinyasa/slow flow classes and faster-paced vinyasa classes.  Bryana has been practicing yoga for 12 years:  hatha, vinyasa, ashtanga, yin.  She loves learning.  One of the reasons she loves yoga is that the information, styles, poses, research, readings, lessons etc. of the practice are endless.
